Pembrokeshire Coastal Path

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is 1 of 15 of Britain's National Trails.  It covers 186 miles of walkers' paradise on both wild headlands and pristine beaches.  Most people walk a little at a time, returning year after year to explore a bit more.

The year round coastal bus services are especially designed for walkers.  Travel by bus a few miles down the coast and walk back at your own pace or there are also many circular walks available.  Walks can be planned with refreshment stops at the many hostelries to be found in the villages along the way.  Suggested walks, with mileages and bus timetables, are all available in the cottage guest Information File in Brynteg.

A short drive away from Trefin are the Preseli Mountains which also offer extremely good walking trails.  Although climbing to just 1760 feet at the highest point they afford (on a clear day) exceptional all round views to the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland, Snowdonia in the north, the Brecon Beacons to the east and the Bristol Channel and West Country to the south.

Ocean Lab in Goodwick near Fishguard combines a Tourist Information Centre, cyber cafe, softplay area and exhibition. Ocean Lab features an exhibition gallery with displays of fossils and offers curriculum based workshops that explore many aspects of the marine environment. Ocean Lab's exciting exhibition, featuring Ollie the octopus' garden, allows children to participate in many hands-on activities, while learning about creatures that live in the ocean. The Creative Cafe, Haverfordwest. A hands on ceramic studio/cafe where you decorate your own ceramics in a relaxing creative environment. Suitable for all ages. Everyone's an artist. Pottery items are glazed and fired and ready for collection in one to three days (postal service available) . Fingerprint jewellery and handprints in clay are also available (May take up to 3 weeks)

Hangar 5 Trampoline Park

Clerkenhill Farm, Haverfordwest. A great value day out in a picturesque Pembrokeshire valley. Large play areas with adventure trails with find the bears, spooky wood, quiz and farm animals, Thet even have their own beach. Try your hand at the 18 basket frizbee golf course suitable for all the family. Relax in the Old Loft Cafe whilst the children play on the small tractor track and pedal go-karts. A fun healthy environment for all.

Oakwood Theme Park, near Haverfordwest. Oakwood Theme Park is a theme park in Pembrokeshire, which attracts over 400,000 visitors each year.

Oakwood opened in the late 1980s as a very small family park with BMXs, a wooden fort, a 3D-style cinema experience show, go-karts and a water chute ride. The park has in recent years acquired a reputation for innovation and now incorporates five large thrill rides: Megafobia , Vertigo , Bounce , Drenched ,  and

Speed.  The 85-foot-tall (26 m) wooden roller coaster "Megafobia" has been rated among the best in Europe by enthusiasts.
